Colorectal cancer is the fourth most common cause of cancer death in the United States but it doesn’t have to be. Early detection through simple tests or procedures offers better outcomes. It’s recommended that colorectal screenings begin at age 45 but if there’s a family history of the disease, you may need earlier screening.
