About

Philosophy of care

The tenets of compassion, integrity, confidentiality and respect for you are an integral part of my philosophy of care for all patient interactions. Toward these values I will always maintain a strong focus and dedication. Additionally, I feel that a team approach to health care improves results. The care of patients must include you, your representative(s) and the appropriate multidisciplinary professional(s) to promote optimum health and healing. We are currently living through a time of unprecedented global health concerns. It is only through cooperation and dedication that we, as a people, will not just survive these trials, but also overcome and thrive.

Why I entered medicine

My mission as a nurse practitioner and the reason I entered medicine is to empower patients to self-efficacy concerning their health needs and conditions. My aim is to educate and guide you to achieve and maintain your optimal health. I believe that, via this approach, the most favorable patient health outcomes can be achieved.

Community involvement

I have assisted at my local food pantry and volunteered at events held at my local YMCA.

Personal interests

I have multiple, varied personal interests when not working. I enjoy thrifting items from secondhand shops to create new and unique things. I also enjoy reading sci-fi and other fiction books, as well as sewing items for myself and my family. Additionally, I love hiking, dancing and sleeping in on rainy days.
