Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) Scholarly Works is a digital space to collect and provide access to the scholarly activities of LVHN colleagues and affiliated health care providers. It also serves as a database for LVHN history, from founding to present day.

LVHN Scholarly Works was launched in October 2012 and is managed by LVHN Library Services.

This repository holds thousands of articles, presentations, posters, research and other documents authored by Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) health care providers, affiliated care providers and non-clinical colleagues. This body of work is searched and downloaded more than 140,000 times a year.

Scholarly Works is part of the Digital Commons Network, a full-text searchable database used by hundreds of academic institutions worldwide.

Among the colleague-written documents archived in LVHN Scholarly Works you will find:

  • Research posters
  • Articles
  • Books
  • Book chapters
  • Presentations by LVHN colleagues.

There also are special collections of old LVHN newsletters, images and other archived documents.

How to search LVHN Scholarly Works:

The repository is searchable by title, author, subject, keywords and department. Reports can be pulled for Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), Magnet® and other accrediting bodies that require scholarship and research.
