About

Philosophy of care

My mission is putting you as my patient first, advocating for those who cannot and improving as many lives as I can.

Why I entered medicine

My family was very supportive as I grew up, and I wanted to provide that to those without a similar upbringing. I loved science and research, but it wasn’t until I volunteered in an emergency department during college that I fell in love with clinical medicine and patient care. It allowed me to help the less fortunate, while improving my craft and reaching so many people. My goal remains serving my community and providing the same love I was given by my family.

Community involvement

Before residency I was involved with medical mission trips to Honduras. I also raised awareness of diseases by participating in walks benefiting foundations, including diabetes, breast cancer, kidney disease, sickle cell, ALS, AIDS, heart failure and more. Also I volunteered at homeless shelters and soup kitchens on Sundays during college.

Personal interests

Outside of work, I enjoy powerlifting with my friends at the gym, gaming and spending time with my family.
