About
Philosophy of care
My favorite part of medicine is spending time with patients and families. So much of modern medicine is driven by advanced testing that sometimes the face-to-face encounters get lost. I try to give you as much time as needed to go over medical history, test results and treatment plans.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine with the goal of helping people. And as a pulmonary and critical care specialist, I do that in two unique ways. In pulmonary medicine, I help patients manage chronic diseases over years. In critical care, I help patients who are extremely sick over a short time frame.
Community involvement
I am active with the Penn State Alumni Association and Dance Marathon (THON) Alumni Interest Group. I am also involved in local community events.
Personal interests
I enjoy spending free time with my family, hiking, camping – and Penn State football.
