About

Philosophy of care

When I care for patients, my top priority is giving them my undivided attention and truly listening to their story. We can learn a lot about a patient's personal and medical background by spending quality time with each one. I believe this is the best approach to providing individualized patient-centered care.

Why I entered medicine

I chose to become a physician assistant because I love teaching people about their health. I always knew I wanted to help translate the medical world for the general community.

Community involvement

At Penn State I volunteered for THON, the world's largest student-run philanthropy raising money for the fight against pediatric cancer. It meant so much to be a part of such a large community of students and to see the impact our school had on so many children's lives.

Personal interests

I really enjoy hiking, spending time with my dogs and exploring new local coffee shops!
