When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by one of our treatment coordinators.

Your Treatment Coordinator will collect your personal and insurance information, review required information to help ensure your coverage and go over some basic safety questions.
Image
You’ll then meet one of our oncology-certified nurses.
Image
He or she will get some initial clinical information, like medications, allergies and vital signs. The nurse will then let the doctor know you are ready.

The physician will then come in and greet you.

He or she will review your medical history and testing, then perform an exam. In some cases, you may have an additional procedure done. You would be notified of this procedure prior to arriving.
Image
The physician will then review his or her findings, offer a recommendation and discuss how you would like to proceed.
Image
If you decide to proceed with treatment, we will ask for your permission. The physician will get written consent and enter orders that will help our team members know how to get ready for your treatment.
Image
The nurse will then come back into the exam room and provide education on what to expect and how to prepare.

We may find that you need additional diagnostic testing prior to treatment. You’ll then return to the Treatment Coordinator to have your testing and simulation appointment scheduled.
