ExpressCARE offers convenient, no appointment care for minor illnesses and injuries. Please note: ExpressCARE is not for emergencies. If you or your loved one has a serious condition, visit an emergency department for care.

ExpressCARE offers walk-in care for urgent, minor illnesses and injuries. This includes treatment for:

- Sprains & strains
- Allergies
- Coughs & colds
- Fever, flu or flu shot
- Nausea
- Sinus pain
Other conditions:
- Acute back pain
- Bronchitis
- Eye irritation
- Ear pain
- Headaches
- Rashes

ExpressCARE locations offer extended hours during evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure care is available when you need it.
Can I get a COVID-19 vaccination at ExpressCARE?
Yes, ExpressCARE provides COVID-19 vaccinations for most people aged 12 and older without an appointment. However, children aged 12-18 with Medicaid coverage and children younger than 12 should visit their primary care office for vaccinations.
What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms?
If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, get a virtual screening through ExpressCARE to receive guidance and, if needed, directions to a testing location near you.
How can I check wait times at ExpressCARE?
You can view current wait times for ExpressCARE locations online. The wait times are based on the average wait over the last hour and may vary depending on patient flow and needs. You can choose a location with wait times that work best for you.
How do I check in at ExpressCARE?
Upon arrival, you can check in by walking to the front desk or using the eCheck-In feature on the MyLVHN app.
Does ExpressCARE offer services for children?
Yes, Children's ExpressCARE in Macungie and Palmer Township provide walk-in, no-appointment care for kids up to age 21 years.
Can I get my medication at ExpressCARE?
Yes, in many cases, you can get the medication prescribed by your ExpressCARE clinician in the office at the end of your visit, saving you a trip to the pharmacy.
What should I do for bone and joint injuries?
For bone and joint injuries or sports injuries, consider visiting an LVHN Injury Center, which offers fast orthopedic care.
What if I don’t have time to visit an ExpressCARE location?
If you don’t have time to visit an ExpressCARE, you can try a Video Visit for convenient care from home.
