College students are accepted year-round. If you are applying for a semester session only, please apply and contact the appropriate office at least one month in advance of the start of the semester.

Steps to become an LVHN volunteer

To become an LVHN volunteer, complete a volunteer application.

Additional requirements

  • Schedule interview with volunteer coordinator at corresponding campus. 
  • Submit two (2) satisfactory references from non-family members. Reference form to be provided during the interview process.
  • Complete necessary TB testing at no cost to volunteer.
  • A clear Pennsylvania Criminal History Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI fingerprinting, if applicable.
  • Attend a virtual orientation for LVHN volunteers.
