Behavioral Health Community Outreach and Education
Free outreach and education for your community
If you or a loved one live with a mental health condition, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) wants to help improve your quality of life. We offer free outreach and education to the community in a variety of formats to help change perceptions and reduce stigma.
In a Opens in new tab poll conducted on behalf of the American Psychological Association, 39 percent of respondents said they would view someone differently if they knew that person had a mental health disorder. While we’ve come a long way in understanding mental health disorders, stigma still exists.
The Behavioral Health Services Department at LVHN is committed to engaging with students, employees and organization members toward a better understanding of mental health. We provide a range of resources for individuals who need support for themselves or others.
Here's what we offer:
Subject matter experts in a wide range of behavioral health topics can talk at your event or for your organization.
Examples include:

On the Guidebook platform, the LVHN Behavioral Health app is a digital resource center to learn about programs, clinicians, emergency resources and relaxation exercises.
We maintain a behavioral health video library on YouTube, with content that continues to grow. Available to see anytime, the videos are a source of evidence-based information on mental health and well-being.
