If you or a loved one live with a mental health condition, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) wants to help improve your quality of life. We offer free outreach and education to the community in a variety of formats to help change perceptions and reduce stigma.

In a poll conducted on behalf of the American Psychological Association, 39 percent of respondents said they would view someone differently if they knew that person had a mental health disorder. While we’ve come a long way in understanding mental health disorders, stigma still exists.

The Behavioral Health Services Department at LVHN is committed to engaging with students, employees and organization members toward a better understanding of mental health. We provide a range of resources for individuals who need support for themselves or others.

Here's what we offer:

Speakers Bureau

Subject matter experts in a wide range of behavioral health topics can talk at your event or for your organization.

Examples include:

  • Trauma-related care
  • Substance use and addiction
  • Chronic pain
  • Grief and loss

Contact us for a full list of topics and to arrange a presentation for your group.
