Our department of medicine includes 15 medical divisions: general internal medicine, those front-line providers providing exceptional primary care to the members of our community, and our medical specialists in allergy and immunology, infectious disease, pulmonary critical care, rheumatology, endocrinology, bariatric medicine, geriatrics, hospice, palliative medicine, occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, gastroenterology, nephrology and dermatology. All of these disciplines embrace the concepts of high-quality, compassionate patient-centered care.
The multidisciplinary group of board-certified physicians and APCs in the department of medicine is supported by a health network with leading-edge technology and the latest in medical education. We support three medical residencies as well as 13 clinical fellowships in various specialties, including cardiology and hematology oncology.
LVHN is made up of 14 hospital campuses, numerous health centers, physician practices, rehabilitation locations, ExpressCARE sites and other outpatient care locations across eastern Pennsylvania. We are the leader in the region and one of the nation’s most advanced health networks with 95 clinical specialties. Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) is a physician-led organization caring for the communities served by LVHN. LVPG’s health care professionals provide exceptional care with a focus on quality metrics related to population or community health. More than 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as more than 800 advanced practice clinicians, are employed by the health network through LVPG.
