Philosophy of care

It is important to me to provide you a comfortable, respectful and friendly environment. I place a high priority on education and prevention. I will take the time to talk with you about your medical issues, review your options and help you decide on a treatment plan.

Why I entered medicine

I got into the medical field because I wanted something where I could talk to a huge range of people, feel like I am making a direct impact on people's lives and be humbled by what I saw. I also wanted a dynamic job that changed and improved over time.

Community involvement

I assist at my church's homeless shelters. There I help ensure a safe, positive experience through conversation and mutual respect, serving meals and participating in related activities. I also have given presentations at women's shelters about common foot problems.

Personal interests

I enjoy challenging my husband to a card game. I also like reading, hiking, kayaking and spending time with my family.
