About
Philosophy of care
As a nurse practitioner, I am committed to taking the time to listen and understand the unique, individualized needs of each patient. I believe forming open, trusting relationships with families is the first step in developing the best plan of care for their loved ones. I understand how stressful it can be for the whole family when a child is sick, so my goal is to provide comfort and relief to everyone involved.
Why I entered medicine
I entered the nursing field because of its endless opportunities. It has been incredibly rewarding to be a trusted advocate for patients and make a lasting impact on their lives. I discovered my passion for pediatrics while working as a nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit, and decided to continue in pediatrics as an advanced practice clinician.
Community involvement
I enjoy volunteering as a vaccinator at annual flu clinics. I have also volunteered as a peer vaccinator while working as an inpatient registered nurse.
Personal interests
I love spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, trying new restaurants and different workout classes.
