About
Philosophy of care
Patient care regarding the art of anesthesia has evolved, adopting the best practices of other industries. That has improved patient safety, the quality of care and service provided. Anesthesia is a service-oriented career that involves putting others first. I believe every patient should be treated as a family member or friend, and I will always treat you with the same time, dedication and commitment as I would for those closest to me.
Why I entered medicine
I entered the health care field to help others, to make a difference and for the intellectual challenge of lifelong learning required to flourish in the anesthesia field. As a nurse anesthetist I can improve people's lives by easing pain, promoting health and providing the individualized anesthetic care they deserve. I want to be there for those who might be experiencing their worst days, and I want to ease their burden and help them any way I can.
Community involvement
I support our local first responders and participate in community events when possible. I plan on volunteering for mission trips to underprivileged countries and provide my services free of charge.
Personal interests
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, taking walks and hikes, traveling, watching new movies, and doing DIY projects around the house. My favorite destinations are the beach or mountains. I also enjoy traveling to New York City to see Broadway shows; I enjoy all genres of music.
