About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy of care is based on patient diversity. I believe every treatment plan needs to be individually tailored to each patient and their respective goals. I will establish a rapport with you, listen to your symptoms in detail, educate you about your condition, give you options for your care, and work with you on your best treatment plan.
Why I entered medicine
My undergraduate studies were centered in kinesiology and exercise science. For that I shadowed many local physical therapists, sparking my interest in orthopedics. I decided to apply to physician assistant (PA) school and began working in a local emergency room as a scribe for patient care hours. There I saw many acute orthopedic traumas being treated.
Community involvement
I have taught children horseback riding and volunteered with hospice patients.
Personal interests
I own a horse and ride almost daily, competing in both stadium jumping and cross country events. I also enjoy snowboarding, playing softball, and watching an array of sporting events.

Comments
"So, the staff upon entering, they do your intake or whatever, your receptionist, they were extremely friendly, extremely helpful and very patient. And Amanda, who I had seen multiple times now, is always a delight. She's very knowledgeable. She doesn't leave no stone unturned and she's just absolutely great as a physician, doctor, I'm not exactly sure her 100% title, but I know that every time she's listened to me, she's taken notes, she's remembered me every time, she's awesome."
"Yes, I had Amanda. She was very efficient. I did not get hurt with the treatment that she gave me. She scheduled my next treatment and she's a very, not only efficient, but a very kind person, which is unusual in this world. Thank you. Bye."
"The PA that met with me was extremely knowledgeable & her bedside manner was super compassionate. Difficult to find this level of commitment & I hope her work is well appreciated."
