About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy of care is to treat the whole you and your overall health. I have a passion for nutrition and completed a nutrition/dietetics degree in college. I also have a passion for fitness and physical health. I am hoping to incorporate nutrition and physical health while treating your mental health. I feel all three of those components are important for living a healthy life.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine because I saw the positive impact physician assistants have on patients’ lives and how well-respected PAs are in their career. As a lifelong athlete I have always enjoyed being part of a team, and I love that a PA works alongside many health care professionals and enjoys great relationships with supervising physicians.

Community involvement

During college I volunteered at a Penn Medicine hospital preparing meals for patients. Later I prepared food at Meals on Wheels for the community. I also volunteered at The Salvation Army. During PA school I volunteered with Gift of Life and Residential Hospice.

Personal interests

In my free time I stay active. I have been involved in sports my whole life and recently started running marathons. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and friends, cooking and baking.
