About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is to treat all my patients as if they were my own family members and to act with their best interests in mind. My goal is to work together with each patient, providing comprehensive and thoughtful care so they can live a happier, healthier and more productive life.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine because I wanted to have a meaningful impact on other people's lives. I have always valued the deep trust and bond between physician and patient; that is something I do not take for granted. I enjoy learning and teaching – every day I learn something new from my patients and I have the opportunity to teach patients, medical residents and medical students.

Community involvement

I volunteered for two years at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a tutor for pediatric patients who missed school due to being hospitalized. During medical school, I was part of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) and helped plan and organize events such as local health screenings and fundraisers to spread awareness and address health issues related to the Asian American community in Philadelphia.

Personal interests

I like trying out new restaurants, cooking, Orangetheory Fitness and traveling. I enjoy spending free time with family, friends and my beagle, Bode.
