About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy serves as a guiding framework for how individuals and organizations approach their responsibilities to those in need, emphasizing dignity, compassion, empowerment and collaboration in promoting the health and well-being of others. Every individual deserves to be treated with respect, empathy and understanding. Care should address not only patients' physical needs, but also their emotional, mental, social and spiritual well-being. It should empower individuals to participate in their own care. Recognizing and respecting diversity in culture, beliefs, values and practices also is essential. Care practices should follow evidence-based research and ongoing evaluation to ensure they remain effective and responsive to evolving needs.
Why I entered medicine
I was drawn to medicine by an innate desire to help others. I also have a passion for biology, anatomy and physiology, and have always had a keen interest in understanding how the body works and responds to illness or injury. Medicine is a dynamic and ever-evolving field that requires continuous learning and professional development. I find fulfillment in the intellectual challenges and opportunities medicine provides. Improving patients' lives by healing and alleviating suffering motivates me to be a better clinician.
Personal interests
I love spending time with my family. I also like kickboxing (Muay Thai), boxing, martial arts, cars, dirt bikes, four-wheelers, three-wheelers and football.
