About
Philosophy of care
Our philosophy of care at Children's HealthCare is to partner with our parents for the best care possible for their children. Our total approach emphasizes preventive care, proper diet, fitness, immunizations, as well as care of acute and chronic illnesses.
Why I entered medicine
Since early childhood I always wanted to be a pediatrician, and take care of sick children as well as healthy kids. I grew up in Russia, and many of my immediate relatives were physicians. So I was exposed to medicine, went to different hospitals with my uncles and aunts, and was very interested in medicine and helping people.
Community involvement
I worked in asthma summer camp as a volunteer. In June of 2013, I will be working in PALS summer camp for a week with Down Syndrome children.
Personal interests
I love art, music and painting, and love traveling. I have an adopted dog and am absolutely crazy about him.
