About
Philosophy of care
I value empowering and educating you about your health care. My experiences have taught me that showing you compassion and making sure you understand your health status are crucial to treating you properly.
Why I entered medicine
After graduating college, I worked in a hospital laboratory as a medical technologist, performing an array of diagnostic laboratory tests for patients. With each test, my interest grew in how a particular disease or injury altered the normal physiological processes within that patient. This prompted my decision to enter medical school.
Personal interests
I devote time to teaching, being involved in research and quality improvement projects.
