About
Philosophy of care
I believe each patient is an individual with unique concerns, fears and anxieties about the challenges they are facing. My focus is to provide you support and reassurance, while gathering information during my evaluation. When appropriate, I try to interject humor to help you relax. It is important to gain all patients’ confidence and for you to feel you have professionals who will make you comfortable, guard your safety and facilitate your recovery. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide you care, alleviate your stress and pain and optimize your experience.
Why I entered medicine
I have always had a fascination with science and medicine. At an early age, I felt empathy for those who were ill and wanted to learn more about what I could do to improve their circumstances. I found myself watching TV shows about medicine and investigating topics in an encyclopedia. This took me on a long journey that brought me into the field of medicine.
Community involvement
I have historically donated to organizations that do all sorts of charitable good, such as food banks. I have also been supportive of some underprivileged young men with whom my son associated in school. I have also been involved in support of autism education. In my community, I have supported religious institutions and education.
Personal interests
I have always enjoyed music and play the drums. In my spare time, I like to ride my motorcycle (Trike) with friends. When the weather is nice, I enjoy walking or riding my bicycle. I find many varieties of ethnic foods appealing and have experimented with recipes in cooking many dishes. When I have more time, I would like to travel, because I enjoy different cultures, museums, cuisine and environments.
