Philosophy of care

My philosophy of care is to treat you as I would like myself or member of my family to be treated. I believe giving you time to ask questions and address any concerns is very important. I am always willing to go that extra step to make sure you feel comfortable and satisfied with your visit prior to leaving the hospital or office.

Why I entered medicine

Growing up I had many sports related injuries, which exposed me to orthopedics at a young age. I particularly remember being treated by a physician assistant (PA) at one of my visits, which inspired me to pursue health care studies. After my acceptance into PA school, I was then able to shadow that same physician assistant and learn about being a PA in orthopedics. Now after years working as a physician assistant, I can honestly say I could not see myself working in any other specialty than orthopedics.

Community involvement

I have previously volunteered as a counselor at The Muscular Dystrophy Association summer camp.

Personal interests

Personal interests outside of medicine include biking, attending sporting events and going on walks with my dog.
