About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy is to build an empathetic relationship with my patients. I follow a holistic approach, focusing on the mind, body and soul, as well as applying an evidence-based treatment. My goal is to have patients feel empowered about their health every time they see me!
Why I entered medicine
Being a physician always felt like a calling. I wanted to build meaningful relationships with people while providing an invaluable service. Family medicine allowed me to see patients and their family members during every age and every milestone in their lives. My passion is bariatric medicine because I get to work with patients in a multidisciplinary, whole-body approach focusing on lifestyle medicine and up-to-date treatment modalities.
Community involvement
My children and I like to volunteer at food pantries and other community events. I also volunteer at the Muslim Association of Lehigh Valley (MALV) free clinic, which provides free medical care for the uninsured. My goal is to be able to go on medical mission trips in the future.
Personal interests
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, listening to audiobooks (especially thrillers), kickboxing, arts and crafts and baking!
