Philosophy of care
I involve you in your own care as much as possible. I love to educate patients so they can make the best decision for themselves. I also believe in having a very open dialogue with my patients, so they feel as comfortable with me as possible. This allows us to work together to ensure you are getting top-notch care for you and your needs. I am very passionate about women's health and want you to know any visit with me is a safe space.
Why I entered medicine
My mom has always been my inspiration. She has had breast cancer twice and has shown such strength. I always admired her providers and the personal care and attention they gave her. I would like to be able to give that same care to my patients and treat them like I would my own family.
Community involvement
I love volunteering with Special Olympics. I have also volunteered in many blood drives. When I studied abroad in Uganda, I volunteered in an HIV clinic, an obstetrics office and a labor and delivery unit.
Personal interests
When not at work, I am most likely with my family or at a baseball game! I am a dog lover and a foodie as well.
