About
Philosophy of care
As a health care professional, I believe in providing evidence-based medicine centered on the specific needs of each patient, while also incorporating preventive care in all patient encounters. I desire to connect with each patient on a personal level and to communicate thoroughly regarding disease processes and management plans to foster trustworthiness and compassionate care.
Why I entered medicine
I chose a career in medicine because it essentially merged my love for physiology with the art of healing and preventive medicine. Medicine also provides a rich platform for service and communicating facts to implement positive changes in lifestyle habits.
Community involvement
I have been involved in patient education forums and free community blood pressure and diabetic screenings.
Personal interests
I enjoy seeking out new trails to hike, bike or run on. I am generally into fitness and love to incorporate strength training into my exercise routine. I enjoy trying new foods and traveling, especially with family and friends.
