About

Philosophy of care

Every day is a learning day. I take constructive criticism from colleagues and patients to become a better provider in my practice. I am always up to date with current medical guidelines and an advocate for your individual needs, as I am for all my patients.

Why I entered medicine

Anesthesia was always an interest of mine. I worked as a critical care registered nurse (CCRN) in the neurology, medical surgical and trauma ICU, and gained a well-rounded understanding of patient care. I wanted to dig deeper into physiology and pathophysiology of patient diagnoses and care. Anesthesia provided an open door to learn and bring autonomy to my nursing practice.

Community involvement

I stay active in flu/vaccine clinics. Health education for the public starts with providers donating time, and I always look for opportunities to give back.

Personal interests

Anesthesia is a great and varied area of medicine. I enjoy the diversity of surgical cases, which keeps me a well-rounded nurse anesthetist and improves my skills and patient care.
