About
Philosophy of care
As a cardiovascular nurse practitioner my philosophy is to provide individualized care to each of my patients. That includes acknowledging their uniqueness, advocating for them, educating them and their families, and providing compassionate, high-quality care while improving their outcomes.
Why I entered medicine
I lacked passion for my first college degree; something was missing. But then I delved into the realm of medicine and instantly knew I wanted to do more. I had become passionate about caring for others and studying the pathophysiology of the human body. When a family member was decompensating while delivering her child and I began to advocate for her, I knew medicine was my present and my future.
Community involvement
I love animals (with two rescued cats at home) and support local animal shelters.
Personal interests
I love to be active! Whether trail running or using my Peloton, I enjoy cardiovascular exercise. I also love exploring the outdoors and fishing on my bass boat in various lakes in Pennsylvania and New York.
