About

Philosophy of care

I follow a patient-centered approach that looks at health and illness through the lens of the whole person. This includes the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental aspects of each patient. All these elements are incorporated into creating an individualized and balanced plan of care.

Why I entered medicine

Throughout my adolescent years I struggled with a heart condition that sparked my interest in medicine, which eventually led to my career in nursing. I have always had a love for science and a passion for helping others; I am a natural caretaker. I worked as an intensive care unit nurse for nine years at LVHN prior to obtaining my nurse practitioner degree at DeSales University.

Community involvement

I love animals and have been involved in animal rescue the past 10 years. I volunteer and foster dogs for a local rescue. I am often involved in fundraising events. I also enjoy walking and spending time with dogs at local animal shelters. I have two rescue dogs: Harry and Dozer!

Personal interests

My daughter was born in August 2022, and she is my world. Becoming a mother has been such a blessing and is the most important thing in my life!! Other interests include traveling, the beach, trying new food/restaurants and enjoying the company of my family and friends.
