About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy is to form a professional trusting relationship between you and me. I believe it is important for a provider to be attentive, informative and most importantly compassionate toward their patients.
Why I entered medicine
All my life I have been surrounded by people who work in medicine, leading me to develop a tremendous respect for those in the field. Medicine is a challenge, but one that brings great rewards. Experiencing the joy of giving a patient good news, the pride of finding the right diagnosis, and the gratitude expressed by those you cared for makes the challenge worth it.
Community involvement
At this point in my career I have not had the chance to become involved with community or charity events. In the future I hope to use my education in medicine to help others and volunteer in my community.
Personal interests
I spend as much of my free time as I can with friends and family. We enjoy hiking, skiing and attending Penn State football games. I also have two dogs I look forward to seeing and playing with every day.

"Information and next steps were outlined in detail with all questions answered"
"Devan and the assistant have truly been wonderful through this horrible time in my life! I can't say enough about how great they are. They take the time to listen and also hear my concerns and questions."
"I had my daughter with me we were both exceptionally impressed with Devan's understanding of my requests and other issues associated with my health. I will rate Devan as a number 11 on a scale of 10. Devan's was the best experience I've had in recent memory of a patient/patient relationship, other than mere reporting."
