Philosophy of care

I view the practice of medicine as a team approach. In the course of my medical career, I have found that patients play an equally important role in their own health and healing as their physician. I often find that a motivated patient simply needs the guidance of a trusted physician to help them live their healthiest life.

Why I entered medicine

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a physician. I have always been drawn to this profession because it allows you to demonstrate compassion towards those when they need it the most.

Community involvement

Prior to medical school and during my medical training, I worked and volunteered much of my time in the field of child psychiatry. I have worked and volunteered at several different residential camps and facilities in the northeast for children with severe emotional disorders and families in crisis. I have also volunteered at Birthright- a foundation that supports for pregnant woman who have decided to carry unwanted pregnancies to term as well as the Boys and Girls club of America.

Personal interests

When I am not working or chasing after my four- and five-year-old sons, I enjoy hiking, doing Pilates exercises, and practicing Transcendental Meditation.

About our Survey

Our physicians and advanced practice clinicians (CRNPs and PA-Cs) are among the nation's best. That's why we show you patient satisfaction ratings and comments so you can read about and get to know our providers through the eyes of their patients.

To ensure our ratings and comments come only from verified patients, we work with NRC Health, a third-party organization. NRC Health sends patient satisfaction surveys on LVPG's behalf following an office visit or procedure. They ask patients about their impression of the health care provider and the doctor's or advanced practice clinician's communication skills.

What is included in the star rating?

Star ratings are based on a scale of 1-5 stars, 5 being the best. The rating includes responses to these provider-related questions:

Why don't all doctors or advanced practice clinicians have a rating?

In order to have enough data to measure and compare, a health care provider must have at least 30 completed patient satisfaction surveys. Surveys are included for a period of 12 months from submission.
