About

Philosophy of care

My life philosophy is to live by the golden rule – treat people the way you want to be treated. As such, I strive to treat you, my patients, as brothers and sisters in humankind.

Why I entered medicine

Since an early age I have had an unrelenting desire to understand how things function and a particular interest in biological mechanisms. I have also come to recognize that the distillate of life is people. As a vocation, medicine integrates these two devotions.

Personal interests

I enjoy repairing or upgrading everything I can get my hands on: computers, electronics, appliances, cars, plumbing, drywall and electric. A friend and I recently changed windows on a renovated 18th century house. As a son of a French restaurateur, I also am passionate about food; I routinely throw down in the kitchen. Throw me in a DJ booth, and I'll get people on the dance floor.
