About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy emphasizes a patient-centered approach prioritizing your well-being, dignity and autonomy. I make sure to see each person as a whole and not just their diagnosis. My goal is for you to completely understand your condition and for us to work together to formulate a plan that fits your specific situation.
Why I entered medicine
From a very young age I was extremely interested in health and science. After working as an RN since 2015, I wanted to become more deeply involved in my patients' care. Working in this specialty will allow for lifelong learning and provide me the ability to use my education to benefit those under my care.
Community involvement
I enjoy participating in events that benefit both local and national organizations, such as the American Heart Association and local animal shelters.
Personal interests
I enjoy time with my husband and children, reading a good mystery book, trying new recipes and getting outside whenever I can. As an avid animal lover I dote on both my cat and my rescue dog.
