About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is to treat the whole patient (without losing sight of your overall health and wellness) as we address the issue that brought you to the hospital. All aspects of your mental and physical well-being will be considered when crafting your individual treatment plan. You will have a seat at the table as a member of your care team.

Why I entered medicine

I wanted a career that would allow me to help people through difficult times in their lives. Both my parents were nurses, so the medical field was a natural fit. I love being able to help patients understand and manage their disease while getting them out of the hospital and back to enjoying life.

Community involvement

I believe supporting my community is vital, from shopping locally (rather than from online conglomerates) to donating to the local food bank. I look forward to having more time to contribute to my community as an attending!

Personal interests

My biggest hobby is woodworking. Being able to take raw material and make something both useful and aesthetically pleasing is exceptionally rewarding. I am also a coffee fanatic and just upgraded my espresso machine, allowing me to explore a variety of coffee beverages at home.
