About

Philosophy of care

I want to help as many as I can within my limits as a CRNP.

Why I entered medicine

I started out as a paramedic in Pittsburgh, then went into nursing, then ED nursing to flight nursing and administration. I went back to school for my MSN, then doctoral work, then my CRNP and back to the Emergency Department -- my first love. I know this sounds kind of old-fashioned, but I want to help people who really need the care.

Community involvement

I've done paramedic and EMT teaching and also provided training for CPR, ACLS and PALS.

Personal interests

I have rental properties and enjoy spending time with my family and pets.
