About
Philosophy of care
I treat my patients and families the way I want to be treated, applying shared decision-making and evidence-based care. The old saying that prevention is better than cure is probably most important in pediatrics. I like to emphasize how critical it is to help prevent illness with regular medical checkups and a healthy lifestyle. Good habits formed during childhood years can go a long way in preventing adult illnesses.
Why I entered medicine
From early childhood I was attracted to the medical field. I always wanted to be like my doctor and help my patients and families the same way. During medical school I chose pediatrics because children are among the most vulnerable patients. I also studied epidemiology to help me evaluate the medical literature critically.
Community involvement
In India, I was regularly involved in charity health camps.
Personal interests
I like to spend time with my family, and love to cook. I am also a big fan of Arsenal F.C. and watch most of their games.

Comments
"I am so thankful that an appointment was made for my sick five-month-old baby on the same day, and I did not have to take him to Express Care. So I'm really grateful that there are these appointments available, same-day appointments for little babies when they're sick. Thank you."
