About
Philosophy of care
I will always greet the parents, but depending on the age of the child I usually start with the child and ask what's wrong. I always enjoy talking with the kids and besides the fact that you never know what they are going to say, I want the children to realize that the visit is about them and that they need to be involved with their health care from an early age. Of course, I always want to know mom and dad's version of the story and for them to fill in the details.
Why I entered medicine
When I was a child, whenever I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I had three options: a super model, the president of the United States or a pediatrician. Well, of the three, I think pediatrician is the most noteworthy. I have always wanted to be able to make an impact in the world, and as a pediatrician I believe that you have the ability to help do that one child at a time.
Personal interests
I enjoy many activities including exercising, scrapbooking, jewelry making and reading.
