About

Philosophy of care

I make a point to treat all of my patients exactly the same, offering each of them the highest quality care I possibly can. I think preventive medicine – colonoscopies and mammograms for example – are very important because the sooner we can identify possible diseases, the better the outcomes. Primarily, I want to be sure you as my patient are comfortable with me.

Why I entered medicine

Growing up, my parents didn’t have health insurance and that kind of inspired me into medicine. I had a strong desire to help people of underserved populations. Everyone deserves health care, whether they can afford it or not. I’ve worked in nursing homes and home health care environments, and I just fell in love with medicine along the way.

Personal interests

I have two dogs and three cats that keep me busy. I like to travel, seeing other countries and cultures. I really like to cook and enjoy going to concerts whenever I can.
