About

Philosophy of care

I believe in treating each patient as a unique individual with their own set of physical, emotional and social needs. Building a strong rapport with my patients and establishing trust are of high importance. I strongly believe in educating and empowering patients to participate in their own health care decisions.

Why I entered medicine

I’ve always been interested in the medical field. My earlier experiences in laboratory medicine and cytology reinforced that, motivating me later in life to become a physician assistant (PA). It’s one of the greatest moves I’ve made in my life.

Community involvement

As a retired serviceman I have volunteered to work as a physician assistant (PA) at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital in Boise, Idaho.

Personal interests

I’m committed to lifelong learning and staying up to date in medical advancements. I enjoy conferences and workshops. I also have a strong interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular physical activity, hiking and running. I also like traveling that allows me to broaden my perspective and appreciate diversity. Such experiences help me connect with patients of diverse backgrounds and cultural beliefs.
