About

Philosophy of care

I believe in an interdisciplinary approach, bridging any communication gaps and symptom management issues to improve your quality of life when living with a serious illness.

Why I entered medicine

I got into the medical field to improve the care of patients with a debilitating illness. I enjoy working with a team of people who can help patients deal with physical, mental and existential issues related to their illness.

Community involvement

I enjoy educating the public about palliative care and hospice as well as advance care planning. I do it through discussions organized by various organizations locally and nationally.

Personal interests

I like spending free time with family and traveling. I love the power of humor, improv and the arts.
