About
Philosophy of care
Working in health care is more than a career; it is a privilege to help others. I strive to provide high-quality, compassionate, individualized care by acknowledging my clients’ unique situations. I hope to educate each patient and their families and assist them in making the best medical decision. I will always respect my patient’s beliefs and desires for their health and freedom of choice.
Why I entered medicine
I enjoy helping others improve their health and quality of life. To have the opportunity to listen to someone’s story, their concerns, and come to a solution together to improve their overall health and well-being is such a rewarding experience. I worked in the intensive care unit as a registered nurse for many years, then decided to become a nurse practitioner to further advocate for and educate my patients.
Community involvement
I believe in giving back to the communities where we work and live, especially through volunteering. Over the years I have been involved in 4-H, Special Olympics and Search and Rescue.
Personal interests
I love spending time with my family. We enjoy going on adventures, traveling and being outside.
