About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy is rooted in compassion, collaboration and comprehensive support. I believe in treating each child as a unique individual, recognizing their physical, emotional and developmental needs. I prioritize preventive care and promoting healthy lifestyles from an early age. I am grateful to have the opportunity for open communication with my patients and their parents to empower families to actively participate in their child's health care journey.
Why I entered medicine
The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives led me into the medical field. Witnessing the transformative impact health care professionals have on individuals and communities inspired me to pursue a career where I could combine my passion for science with my innate desire to serve others.
Community involvement
For over a decade, I've volunteered in underserved areas of my home country, providing essential medical care to families. During my residency, I extended this commitment by supporting immigrant children in Texas. These experiences have reinforced my dedication to pediatric care and advocating for all children, regardless of their circumstances.
Personal interests
I'm passionate about providing comprehensive support for newborns, emphasizing the importance of preventive care to ensure lifelong health and wellness, and addressing mental and behavioral health concerns in children.
