About

Philosophy of care

Obesity has a huge impact on one's mental, physical and emotional health. It comes with many challenges – but they can be overcome. My philosophy is to meet patients where they are at, come alongside them with compassion and help them overcome these challenges. We will use best-practice medicine and treatments with proven outcomes.

Why I entered medicine

I entered the health care field during high school when I volunteered at the nursing home where my mom worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN). I saw the need to care for those who could no longer care for themselves, and I knew that was something I wanted to do. I always had a strong desire to help others and I always have had a strong desire to help people feel accepted and heard.

Community involvement

I am involved in multiple community events and fundraisers. We also sponsor an underprivileged child. I have participated in various outreach projects, such as doing yardwork, landscaping and cooking for those who are unable.

Personal interests

I love being outdoors, traveling, country music, spending time with family, attending sporting events, water sports, boating, Jet Skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, paddleboarding and kayaking. I also enjoy networking and getting to know people with various backgrounds and cultures. I love reading self-improvement books, journaling and practicing gratitude.
