About

Philosophy of care

With treatment, I see it as a partnership with you. I try to help you learn about your disease and how I can help you. It’s also empowering you to take control of your health and lifestyle so that you can change your life.

Why I entered medicine

I’ve always been drawn to helping others. As a child, I always loved science, and putting the two together, nursing was the profession that fit into that. I went to nursing school and I loved it. And once I became a nurse, I wanted to further my education to learn how to diagnose and treat patients, and I became a nurse practitioner.

Community involvement

I assist in treating local high school and college athletes. I help them with any kind of orthopedic-related injuries. I’m at their games and in their training rooms, and we also do their physicals.

Personal interests

I like to do anything outside, such as walking and hiking. And I love to go to the beach. It’s really just about spending time with my family and friends.
