About
Philosophy of care
I strive to acknowledge each person’s individuality, provide empathetic and compassionate care, and develop a positive long-term patient-provider relationship. I vow to spend quality time with you, to listen to your concerns and to provide you the best care possible. My overall goal is to promote a health care environment that is therapeutic and respectful of all human beings.
Why I entered medicine
I have always enjoyed helping people and their families, especially through what is often a difficult time. As a nurse, I aspired to do more for my patients, leading me to become a nurse practitioner. My ability to communicate with people and explain things clearly help make me good at my job.
Community involvement
During my time as a nurse, I held annual fundraisers for oncology patients. The funds helped patients struggling financially attend doctor’s appointments, obtain meals or purchase self-care items. I wish to do the same at LVHN.
Personal interests
In my spare time I enjoy cooking and baking, traveling, reading and tending to my plants.
