About

Philosophy of care

I believe in providing equitable patient-centered care, and see myself as a member of a team led by the patient. My main goal is educating my patient on clinical issues while providing guidance, so together we produce a care plan that meets their goals and desires.

Why I entered medicine

I have aspired to be a doctor since early childhood and have always had a natural calling to help individuals heal. As a clinician now, I am incredibly passionate about addressing the rising maternal mortality and morbidity rates in the U.S.

Personal interests

I enjoy staying active outdoors, working on crafts (e.g., knitting, painting, etc.) and cooking – as well as dabbling in new cuisines.
