About

Philosophy of care

I treat all my patients the way I want my family and closest friends to be treated if they ever need an emergency room.

Why I entered medicine

I have wanted to be a doctor as long as I can remember and have pursued this goal from childhood through college and medical school. I realized I wanted to be an emergency medicine physician after working as a medical assistant at an urgent care center as an undergrad. Four years ago, I was fortunate to match at LVHN as an emergency medicine resident.

Community involvement

I was resident medical director at Cetronia Ambulance Corps the past three years and am now an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) fellow at LVHN.

Personal interests

I enjoy traveling, gardening, playing and coaching softball, and Washington Capitals ice hockey.
