About

Philosophy of care

My approach involves treating the patient as a whole – mind, body, spirit and emotions. I provide comprehensive anesthesia care by listening to each patient and answering their questions and concerns. I take time to explain what to expect before, during and after their anesthetic, meeting their immediate physical and anesthetic needs.

Why I entered medicine

I entered the health care profession to help people during what is usually a stressful period of their lives. Being able to assist them during this time and make a difference in their care has been the privilege of my career.

Community involvement

I volunteer with a local charity called Brighter Journeys, which assists families of special needs children with items that insurance will not pay for, including backyard fences so they will have a safe place to play. The group also provides specially adapted bicycles and equips bathrooms or bedrooms with the necessities to help children bathe and sleep. I also enjoy volunteering at my church during bazaars and dinners.

Personal interests

My husband and I are avid bikers. We love to spend our downtime traveling to different states to try new trails. I am also a huge sports fan and love going to professional and college football and baseball games.
