About
Philosophy of care
My primary goal as your physician is to be your partner in care. I strive to get to know my patients so we can develop a care plan together that will manage your condition while fitting into your lifestyle and goals of care. I also think it is critical you understand your condition, so I will take the time to explain what is going on and to answer any questions you may have.
Why I entered medicine
I have always enjoyed working with people. I enjoy using what I have learned through residency and fellowship to save or restore sight.
Community involvement
I am an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
Personal interests
When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young daughters.
