About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is to provide you the best, up-to-date standard of care.

Why I entered medicine

I became a registered nurse because I’ve enjoyed caring for people since I was a teenager on a volunteer ambulance. During that time, I saw many traumatic events and felt that becoming a nurse would allow me to care at a higher level. After several years of critical care I advanced my education in nurse anesthesia. Becoming an anesthetist advanced my patient care capabilities so that I may provide 100%.

Community involvement

I have been a volunteer EMT, firefighter and rescue diver over the past 32 years. I am presently the assistant fire chief in Duryea, PA.

Personal interests

When not volunteering at the firehouse, you can find me in the mountains, hiking, hunting or fishing.
