About

Philosophy of care

I want every patient to fully understand their cardiovascular condition. Without educating patients, medical care is likely to be suboptimal and at times may even fail. My philosophy is to educate my patients and have them become ambassadors of their health care.

Why I entered medicine

I have always loved science, but realized that true fulfillment would come not only from mastering the sciences but also from using that knowledge to help others. Medicine offered me the perfect option.

Community involvement

I am a member of UNICO (an Italian American charitable community organization).

Personal interests

My spare time pursuits include exercise and weight lifting, wine making, traveling, reading and spending quality time with family.
